Eliza and the Bear played a
cracking supporting set; getting the audience warmed up for Little Comets.
After finishing on "Friends", the crowd was full, loud and ready for
the headliners. Little Comets played a variety of both old and new material;
beginning the set with some old classics but reassuring us that their (eagerly
awaited) new tracks were just as good. Midway
through the set, we were entertained by a
much bouncier version of "Joanne" which had the crowd bopping;
shortly followed by "the dancing song" which didn't fail to put the
crowd in high spirits. As a whole the gig was superb;
it reaffirmed my undying love for such an underrated and extremely talented
band.
